Declaration of Oath of Candidacy - 3 year term
Declaration of Oath - Write-In Candidate - 3 year term
** Must be registered to vote in the District
** Must be: at least 18 years of age, a resident of the state
and county for at least 30 days and a US citizen
** Must be a resident of the district
** Must not be: a convicted felon currently serving a sentence in a
penal institution or determined to be of unsound mind by a
court of law
** May not be an employee of the District
** May not be running for another public office
** Must file oath with the District Clerk by March 25, 2021
Scobey School's Election will be held May 4, 2020 if necessary. Trustee Candidates may file beginning December 10, 2020 and ending no later than 4:00 p.m. March 25, 2021. The Declaration of Oath of Candidacy can be picked up at the District Clerk's office or downloaded here.
Scobey Schools will have Two (2) seats open for election for a Three (3) year term.
THE TRUSTEE PORTION OF THE ELECTION HAS BEEN CANCELLED. THE GENERAL FUND LEVY ELECTION WILL STILL TAKE PLACE, MAY 4, 2021 BY MAIL BALLOT ELECTION ONLY.

April 1. 2021 - Last Day Candidate can Withdraw from Election

April 5, 2021 - Close of Regular Voter Registration
May 4, 2021 - ELECTION DAY - GENERAL FUND LEVY ELECTION - MAIL BALLOT ONLY

** Voters must follow the same regulations stated in MCA 13-1-111:
~ Registered as required by law
~ At least 18 years of age
~ A resident of the state and county for at least 30 days
~ A US citizen
~ Not a convicted felon currently serving a sentenced in a
~ No adjudicated to be of unsound mind unless restored to
capacity as provided by law
** Regular registration closes April 5, 2021
** Late registration opens April 6, 2021
** Electors may late register after close of regular registration and until noon the day before the election. Late registration re-opens on election day.
** Late registrants obtain certification from the county and must present to clerk
** To ensure you receive a ballot to vote in the school election, contact the county election's office to confirm your voter information is accurate and up to date.
